Qualcomm, the company behind the popular Snapdragon processors found in many flagship Android smartphones. Qualcomm has announced an event on March 18th with the tagline “Wisdom is in the core, and the dragon is the spirit.” The event is expected to launch the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor (SM8635) as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. It will take place in China.
Expected Features
Rumors suggest the launch of both these processors: the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) and the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675). The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is expected to have a similar chipset to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but may boast a more powerful GPU, possibly the Adreno 750. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 might feature the Adreno 732 GPU.
