Nothing, which had already launched 3 smartphones – Nothing Phone 1, 2, and 2a, has announced the launch of a new smartphone under its sub-brand CMF. This device is expected to launch globally, including in India, on 8th July. Additionally, the company will also launch CMF Buds Pro 2 TWS and CMF Watch Pro 2 smartwatch alongside. This aligns with the trend of launching 2-3 products in a single event nowadays.
The company has revealed some key specifications ahead of the official launch to build excitement among customers. It has confirmed a Super AMOLED display, which is teased to be flat, with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ resolution supporting a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Moreover, the display will support up to 2000 nits peak brightness with HDR10+.
Alongside these announcements, the company has uploaded a video revealing details about some components, with more details to be disclosed daily over the next 9 days to engage potential buyers further. All details will be fully unveiled on 8th July. A notable feature is that the device’s back cover will be removable, allowing for easy replacement or change by opening screws.
As per the video uploaded by technical guruji the price will be kept under 20000 in the series of leaks from nothing.
While more specifications haven’t been leaked yet, rumors suggest the device will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, dual rear cameras likely led by a minimum 50MP sensor, and a 16MP front camera. The battery is expected to be around 5000mAh with possible 33W fast charging support, consistent with current standards. Storage options may start at 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, similar to other Nothing phones, and could go up to 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM. We’ll continue to provide more details as features are unveiled.
